Iran cautioned against  any foreign intervention in the internal affairs of Ukraine.
 
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham called on the Ukrainian people to keep calm and refrain from violence, Tehran Times reported.
 
“We believe that Ukraine’s fate should be determined by the people’s resolve, harmony between the country’s political forces, and no foreign interference,” she stated.
 
Afkham added that the Islamic Republic is carefully monitoring developments in Ukraine.
