YEREVAN. – A man who had crossed the border with Azerbaijan is not a serviceman, spokesperson for Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to Azerbaijani media, a citizen of Armenia was detained in Tovuz Region of Azerbaijan. The secretary of Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons Shahin Sailov said a 20-22 years-old citizen of Armenia was detained.

The man has not been identified yet. Sailov said the detainee is being transported to Baku.
