Ukraine and the Council of Europe planned joint actions on blocking Russia's aggression, acting Ukrainian president Alexander Turchinov said.

He informed about talks with Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland and Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz.

Turchinov said Russia continues publicity stunt that is based on unbiased information about events in Ukraine, UNIAN reported.

“There is an attempt of misinforming Russian citizens and citizens of other countries on the issues related to legitimacy of Ukrainian authorities, Crimea events, false referendum that is being organized, or better to say falsified,” he told reporters.
