YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan chaired the regular meeting of the Information Technology [IT] Development Support Council of Armenia.

Among numerous matters, the discussants conferred on the country’s public procurement system, and the value-added tax problems arising during grant programs, informs the Press Service of the Government of Armenia.    

In addition, a report was delivered on the project of setting up and development of robotics teams in Armenia.    

“The Information Technology Development Support Council includes representatives from the private sector. Its objective is that we receive from the real sector the signals as to the issues of concern to the IT sector.

“The vast majority of the issues are getting the solutions,” Sargsyan specifically noted summing up the results of the council meeting.
