YEREVAN. – At the moment NATO membership is not on the agenda of Ukraine, Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Kukhta said.

Ukrainian diplomat recalled that this position had been recently voiced by prime minister.

“There are many issues of economic and political stability, holding elections. When situation becomes stable, decisions will be made,” he added.

As to signing of Association Agreement with EU, the things are different. Ambassador recalled that European side stated it would be signed in the near future. Kukhtan named the agreement important, adding that Ukraine protests were caused by decision not to sign the document.
