YEREVAN. – Armenia will take part in the designing of a new customs code for the Customs Union (CU). 

The aforementioned was noted during Thursday’s talk between Armenia Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, and Eurasian Economic Commission Board Member-Minister Vladimir Goshin.   

They conferred on customs cooperation and customs legislation within the framework of Armenia’s accession process to the Customs Union and the Eurasian Common Economic Space.    

In addition, representatives from the agencies in charge presented Sargsyan reports on the results of the respective discussions that were held, informs the Press Office of the Government of Armenia.   

For his part, Goshin presented details on the development of the new CU customs code, which will come into force next year. 

Representatives from the Armenian party likewise will take part in the designing of the new customs code. 
The next meeting of the respective working group is slated for March 17 in Moscow.
