YEREVAN. – Crimea will not return under jurisdiction of Ukraine in the short-term perspective, Armenian political analyst said.

Alexander Iskandaryan said it is clear that Crimea does not want to be under control of Kyiv. He noted that in fact this will naturally lead to changes in the region.

“Today much more important than what happens in Crimea, as all that was going to happen there has already occurred, is understanding that Crimea was one of the tools in a big game,” he emphasized

More important, Iskandaryan believes, is what happens in other regions of Ukraine, in particular, in its eastern part, since “it is clear that Russia really wants federalization of Ukraine”.
