NATO is reassessing its relationship with Russia, as the military cooperation has already been curtailed, NATO Liaison Officer for the Caucasus William Lahue told Armenian News - NEWS.am.
The NATO-Russian Council, he said, is still going to meet.
“But what the level of that relationship is, whether we will continue it - the Alliance will make that decision in few upcoming months. The annexation of Crimea is seen as a threat to stability in Europe and therefore requires a reassessment of the level of relationship between NATO and Russia,” William Lahue emphasized.
He added that the 28 members of the Alliance have to make a decision about that and come to a consensus about what this relationship will mean in the future.
