YEREVAN. – President Serzh Sargsyan issued a message of congratulations to Armenia’s Assyrian community in connection with Kha b’ Nisan, the Assyrian New Year, informed the Press Office of the President.  

“I have no doubt that the age-old neighborliness, friendship and cultural mutual permeations of the Armenian and the Assyrian peoples will continue. We will mutually enrich and strengthen one another. 

“May the Kha b’ Nisan holiday bring joy and happiness to the Assyrians in Armenia. May the coming year be a year of productive initiatives, [and] new achievements for you,” the President’s message specifically reads.
