YEREVAN. –  The Constitutional Court's decision Armenian government must resign immediately, secretary of Prosperous Armenia parliamentary group Naira Zohrabyan told reporters.

Head of ANC faction Levon Zurabyan said this was a positive move towards the demonstrations kicking off on April 28.

“I am against” (“Dem em”) initiative member Gevorg Gorgisyan said the government and prime minister must resign after the decision.

“It is a victory, but the judgment had 64 pages. We must examine it and then understand what was decided,” he said.

The CC gave the parliament and the government time until September 30 to amend the aforesaid law’s provisions that were considered unconstitutional. In addition, all the mandatory pension deductions which already were made shall be reviewed. The CC judgment came into effect upon issuance.
