YEREVAN. – Armenian Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasyan said all provisions of law on pension system remain in force till September 30, until the government drafts amendments to submit for parliament's approval.

The Minister explained that the law will continue to be valid, as otherwise the system will not operate. According to him, 5 percent of the salary to be paid before September 30 will be recalculated in the context of changes.

“If it is decided to provisionally allot 4 percent, the amount paid for conditional 4 months, will be considered as payments for five months,” he said.

Tovmasyan noted that the decision of the Constitutional Court as of 24 January 2014 on the exemption from liability for non-payment of 5 percent of salary, has no effect now.
