Armenia is ranked 53rd in the World Economic Forum’s Global Enabling Trade Report 2014.

Armenia has registered progress advancing six spots as compared with the latest report in 2012.

Published every two years, the Global Enabling Trade Report assesses the quality of institutions, policies and services facilitating the free flow of goods over borders and to their destinations.

At the core of the report, the Enabling Trade Index benchmarks the performance of 138 economies in four critical areas: market access; border administration; transport and communications infrastructure; and regulatory and business environment.

Singapore and Hong Kong are traditional leaders in the report.

Armenia's neighbor Georgia is ranked 34th. Azerbaijan is ranked 77th and Turkey 46th. Iran is in the 131st spot.
Armenia has the best indicators among CIS states with Russia being 105th and Kazakhstan 94th.
