YEREVAN. – A seminar, titled “Gender Equality: From Theory to Reality,” was convened in recent days in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.

The event brought together thirty youth from twelve countries.

The young members of the world society discussed the problems that arise as a result of gender inequality and difference between the genders, and they offered possible solutions to existing problems.  

In addition, the seminar participants visited the “Pink Armenia” and the “Society Without Violence” NGOs.

The guests also got a chance to learn about the Armenian culture, traditions, and rich history.

The main objective of the seminar was to provide comprehensive information about the topic, and to educate socially active youth so as to form a society that is sound, secure, and free from discrimination.
