YEREVAN. – Orinats Yerkir once joined ruling coalition for the sake of Armenian people and now is leaving it for the sake of people, party leader Arthur Baghdasaryan told reporters on Friday.

Orinats Yerkir has no intention to occupy someone's place in the political field, but will do its best to struggle for the rights and interests of Armenians.

“As a part of the ruling coalition, Orinats Yerkir failed to realize all their projects aimed at improving living standards,” Baghdasaryan emphasized, noting limited influence of the party on coalition decisions.

Now the party has new political agenda, he assured. Asked why the decision was made right now, Baghdasaryan said: “A journalist may have many ideas and implement them, until his editor begins to torpedo his ideas”.
