In an interview with the American PBS television, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan again denied the fact of the Armenian Genocide.

Well-known PBS talk show host Charlie Rose asked Erdogan whether Turkey may recognize the Armenian Genocide, reported Intertnethaber website of Turkey. In response, Turkey’s PM stated: “It’s impossible because had there been genocide, there would not have been Armenians living in Turkey today.”

For the first time in Turkey’s history, and ahead of the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, a Turkish PM condoled with the victims of the Genocide in 1915. His respective statement, however, did not deviate from Turkey’s official policy of Genocide denial.
