YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Friday met with Nerses Bedros XIX Tarmouni, the Patriarch Catholicos of Cilicia, and the current patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church.    

President Sargsyan and Patriarch Nerses Bedros underscored the combining of efforts for the welfare of the Armenian nation, Armenian state-Armenian Church cooperation and unity in resolving national issues, the activities toward the preservation of the Armenian identity in the diaspora, and the avenues for strengthening Armenia-Diaspora ties.
