YEREVAN. – Armenia's former Ombudsman Larisa Alaverdyan is confident that the country needs new policy of complementarity.

On the way to Eurasian Economic Union, official Yerevan should not give up cooperation with EU, she said during a press conference on Thursday.

“We have many problems that can be solved in cooperation with Europe. We have much to learn,” Alaverdyan said, pointing out the system of human rights protection.

Asked whether Armenia will be able to build favorable relations with EU, Alaverdyan noted “there is no bad moment in politics, there is inability to properly use any situation”.

Besides, former Ombudsman noted that EU and Eurasian Economic Union will finally come to a mutual agreement and warned against burning the bridges by that time.
