YEREVAN. – Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian on Thursday received American-Armenian philanthropists Hagop and Veronica Kouyoumdjian.  

Nalbandian thanked them for their contribution to Armenian preservation, the strengthening of Armenia-Diaspora ties, and to the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund projects, the MFA press service informed.

Also, he presented to Hagop Kouyoumdjian the Anania Shirakatsi Medal, which was bestowed upon him by the decision of the President of Armenia.           

In addition, the minister expressed gratitude for their assistance rendered to the Armenia MFA, the Permanent Mission of Armenia to the United Nations in New York City, and the Embassy of Armenia in Washington, DC.
