YEREVAN. – Sport and Youth Affairs Minister of Armenia Gabriel Ghazaryan on Wednesday received Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Reisi.  

Ghazaryan noted that he highly appreciates the cooperation between the two countries in the development of physical education and sports, and the holding of joint athletic training events, informed the Sport and Youth Affairs Ministry press service.     

The ambassador, for his part, conveyed the warm greetings to Ghazaryan from the Iranian Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, and expressed the hope that the mutual visits by the sports executives of the two countries will yield a closer cooperation in the aforesaid domains.   

The minister and the diplomat also discussed the need for signing a memorandum of cooperation in sports, and, in their view, this memorandum will further enhance cooperation between Armenia and Iran.
