Turkey's Constitutional Court ruled that the murder of Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink was not efficiently probed and the rights of his family were violated, Hurriyet Daily News reported.

The verdict came after an individual application to the Court from Hrant Dink’s family.

The family had applied-to the court on the grounds that they had not been adequately informed about the investigation and that the probe was neglected, the daily writes.

Hrant Dink was the founder and chief editor of Agos Armenian weekly of Istanbul, and he was killed on January 19, 2007 in front of the weekly’s office, by Ogun Samast. The ongoing trials into Dink’s murder, however, have not yet exposed the architects of this assassination
