YEREVAN. – As reported earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia received a call, on Friday at 2:10am, from the Sevan city Police Department.

Accordingly, Armenian citizen K. N. had informed the police, at 1:10am, that on Thursday at around 3:30pm, he had driven a French citizen by the name of J. P. from a capital city Yerevan hotel to the Sevan Peninsula, and with his taxi cab.

The MES Rescue Service informed that the French citizen had left is belongings in the vehicle, informed the driver that he will return in about two hours, gone towards the peninsula, but had not returned. Rescuers were needed. 

A rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.

The Sevan city Police Department informed, on Friday at 10:25am, that French citizen Jean P. had come to the department.
