A citizen of Armenia tried to smuggle about a kilogram of gold and silver jewelry as well as 110 cigarette packs into Georgia.

The man was detained by Georgian border officers, Georgian Finance Ministry's revenue service reported. He attempted to enter Georgia by bus with undeclared goods with a total cost of around $21,000 (36,000 819 lari).

The case will be studied by the Finance Ministry's investigation department, Novosti Gruzia reported.
