YEREVAN. – The Armenian government on Thursday approved amendments to the law on advertising. The bill was drafted by the National Centre for Legislative Regulation at the Armenian government.
Davit Harutyunyan, Minister-Chief of Government Staff, presented the bill during the government's session on Friday. The bill envisages time restrictions for advertising – not more than 14 minutes per hour.
Previously television channels could reduce the time for advertising in quite hours and increase in prime time, now it will be impossible.
“Time for advertising should not exceed 14 minutes every hour,” Harutyunyan emphasized.
