YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper presented the data on migration issued by National Statistical Service.

“According to the National Statistical Service, 693, 362 people left Armenia, and only 580, 548 returned in January-June. The migration pace is noticed better when studying the data of border checkpoints. The difference between those departing and arriving at Zvartnots airport comprised 64,002. At Shirak airport – 2,935, at Bagratashen checkpoint – 40,899, and at Bavra checkpoint – 4, 959,” the newspaper writes.

According to the newspaper, despite new migration laws in Russia, as a result of which many citizens of Armenia were sent back from the border, the number of those leaving the country exceeded 100,000.
