STEPANAKERT. – Special units of Azerbaijani armed forces attempted an act of sabotage in south-eastern direction of Karabakh conflict zone late on Tuesday evening.
As a result of actions of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army, the adversary was thrown away to the primary positions. One Azerbaijani soldier was killed and several were wounded, NKR Defense Army's press service reported.
In addition to diversion attempt, during August 5 and 6 the Azerbaijani side violated ceasefire along the contact line around 370 times and fired around 7,000 shots.
At the moment the Defense Army maintains full control over the state border of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
