YEREVAN. – Marking the International Youth Day, the Armenia Network of the UN Global Partnership for Youth Network (UNGPY) was launched on Tuesday.

“The idea for the network emerged when the Generation All-Armenian Youth Center petitioned to the UN Head Office to become a member in the Global Partnership for Youth Network, and we are guided by the motto that, ‘We must be the change which will make the impossible possible.’”

Global Partnership for Youth Network Armenia leader Tigran Shadunts told the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

A total of 54 Armenian youth organizations have joined forces under the UNGPY Armenia Network and have divided into five thematic domains: education, employment and entrepreneurship, health care, governance and participation, and peace and personal security.

“The [UNGPY] Armenia Network has launched, and it is essential that this network establishes as a youth organization. And if they come up with specific programs, we will definitely be at their side.”

UN Yerevan Office Public Information Department representative Armine Halajyan told the above-said to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
