MOSCOW – Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso, informed the Kremlin press service.

“The two leaders touched on current issues in relations between Russia and the European Union, including within the context of Kiev signing the EU association agreement.

“Mr Putin and Mr Barroso agreed to continue contacts, including during a possible personal meeting, with date and venue to be agreed upon via diplomatic channels,” the respective statement specifically reads.
