YEREVAN. – Armenian First Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan, who is in Moscow on a working visit, on Friday met separately with Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), and Secretary Alexander Sinayski of the Council of the Defense Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) .

The interlocutors discussed regional and international security matters, informed the Armenia MOD press service.

In addition, the parties conferred on the preparations for, and the holding of, the joint military exercises—which will be held next year in Armenia—of the CSTO peacekeeping forces, and the training of human resources and professionals in the basic vocational education institutions that function within the framework of CSTO and CIS.
