YEREVAN. – Armenia's newly appointed Ambassador to Georgia Yuri Vardanyan extended the copies of credentials to Georgia's President Giorgi Margvelashvili.

President Margvelashili congratulated Ambassador on the start of his diplomatic mission in Tbilisi and wished success in his endeavor. Georgian leader expressed hope that Ambassador Vardanyan's efforts will give a new impetus to strengthening of traditionally friendly ties.

Ambassador Vardanyan, for his part, assured he would spare no effort for further deepening of bilateral cooperation.

The sides discussed further development of Armenia-Georgia relations in various fields and underlined importance of the ongoing high level political dialogue.
