YEREVAN. – A judge representing Armenia at the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) will be elected during the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) fall session, which will get underway on September 26, 168 Zham daily reported.

“The names of several candidates, including NA [National Assembly] Chief of Staff [former Justice Minister] Hrayr Tovmasyan and attorney Vahe Grigoryan, are circulated for this position.

“[But] our source close to the authorities informed that Armenia presidential aide Georgi Kutoyan, who is also a member of the Commission for Constitutional Reform, is the most likely candidate for this position,” 168 Zham wrote.
