YEREVAN. – Information was received, on Monday at 3:10am, from the Armenian National Seismic Protection Service.
Accordingly, a 3-magnitide earthquake occurred, at 2:24am local time, in the Nakhchivan (Nakhichevan) Autonomous Republic—which is an exclave of Azerbaijan—, 21 km northeast of Nakhchivan (Nakhichevan) city, and the tremor measured magnitude 4 at the epicenter.
The hypocenter of the seismic activity was 10 km beneath the surface.
But there are no casualties, or devastation.
