YEREVAN. – Renovation is still in progress at the 12,200-square-meter area of Northern Avenue in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.

As a result, the granite-made main and basalt-made side areas of the avenue will be completely renovated, the Yerevan Municipality informed.

And instead of the previous 60 flowerpots with an area of 60 square meters, the renovated Northern Avenue will have 67 flowerpots with an area of 270 square meters.

In addition, the avenue’s exterior lighting system will be updated and renewed with modern solutions.

Furthermore, a pair of escalators will operate on both ends of Northern Avenue.
