YEREVAN. – Armenian leadership's decision to attend inauguration ceremony for Turkey's president Erdogan is a right move, political analyst Alexander Manasyan said.

The analyst noted that the decision to take part in inauguration has faced criticism taking into account Erdogan's repeatedly made anti-Armenian statements.

“Armenia's participation in this ceremony means to maintain certain contacts with Turkey, which is very important and is better rather than the policy of 'burning bridges',” the analyst said during a press conference on Wednesday.

Minasyan also noted that Armenia's participation in the inauguration at the level of a foreign Mmnister has certain meaning, and refusal to participate at the level of president is a kind of message to Turkey and the international community.
