Armenia's Ambassador Karen Grigoryan extended the copies of credentials to President of Iraq Fuad Masum.

In the course of a meeting following the talks, Ambassador conveyed the greetings and warm wishes from the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan to Iraqi leader and the people of Iraq. He noted that the two countries have established friendly relations and the Armenian authorities seek to develop and strengthen them.

Ambassador stressed that Armenia is closely following the developments in the Middle East, and especially in Iraq, strongly condemning all acts of terrorism. The diplomat noted that Armenia welcomes the efforts of the Iraqi authorities towards establishment of security and stability in the country.

Iraqi President wished success to the diplomat and noted that Armenia and Armenians are repected the Arab world, including in Iraq.

Iraq is also interested in developing relations with Armenia, and will support all steps in this direction, Fuad Masum said.
