YEREVAN. – “You are dreaming!” stated Armenian MP and business tycoon Samvel Aleksanyan.

Aleksanyan gave such a laconic response at the National Assembly on Wednesday, and to the reporters’ query on whether it is true that Armenia’s Yerevan City supermarket network—which belongs to the Aleksanyan family—has been sold to the world-renowned French Carrefour hypermarket chain.

Carrefour will open in Armenia this autumn, in Yerevan Mall.
