YEREVAN. – Over 300 cases of drug trafficking have been detected by Yerevan police over eight months, chief of Yerevan police department Ashot Karapetyan said.
As a result of investigation, over 250 cases were solved and 60 people were convicted. During this period, police officers confiscated 1.1 kilo of cocaine, 7 kilos of hemp, 899 subutex tablets, and 3.6 kilos of heroine.
In addition, 486 out of 520 wanted have bend found, and 22 foreigners on Interpol wanted list have been detained.
