Ukraine counts on getting a status of U.S. key partner and solving the issue of financial and technical assistance for carrying out reforms, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk told Ukrainian television.

Commenting on Ukraine-US agenda, he said there are several important tasks, among them financial assistance, getting a status of U.S. key ally, technical assistance for reforms, assistance in defense sector and sustainable position of partners on Russia, UNIAN reported.

“I am optimistic about implementation of these provisions,” Yatsenyuk said.
