YEREVAN. – The situation in Ukraine can only have a peaceful resolution.

Belarus National Assembly (NA) House of Representatives Vice-Speaker Viktor Guminsky stated the aforesaid at his joint news briefing, at the Armenian NA on Saturday, with Armenia NA Vice-Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov.

Guminsky wished peace and success to the Armenian MPs and the people of Armenia in this convoluted region. 

“[But] there is a need for peace in Ukraine, too,” he added.

“We have come to the conclusion that the events that are happening around us have no other alternative than a peaceful process; Ukraine, as case in point. We stand ready to make our contribution to a pacific solution to this problem,” stressed the Belarus House of Representatives deputy chairman.
