YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received Baroness Caroline Cox, a member of the British House of Lords, and several members of the Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust (HART).

The PM praised Baroness Cox’s pro-Armenian activities aimed at a fair worldwide representation of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) issue.

“I am confident that your caring attitude towards the people of Artsakh will be remembered for centuries,” Abrahamyan added.

Baroness Cox, for her part, stressed that she is happy to know the heroic people of Artsakh, to stand with them in difficult times, and for the accomplishments of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. She also expressed readiness to continue to help the Armenian nation, and contribute to closer Armenian-British relations.

The interlocutors discussed the planned HART projects in Armenia, regional matters and challenges, the Karabakh peace process, and the priorities of the Armenian government program.

At the end of the talk, PM Hovik Abrahamyan awarded Baroness Caroline Cox and the members of her delegation with nominal watches.
