STEPANAKERT. – Armenian military serviceman Mher Hakobyan (born in 1990) died as a result of the shots fired by the adversary on Thursday at 9:15am.

Hakobyan was mortally wounded at the military outpost of a protection area of a Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army military unit, which is stationed in a southerly direction of the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces.    

An investigation is underway to ascertain the details of the incident, informed the NKR MOD press service.
