YEREVAN. – Armenia's joining the Eurasian Economic Union is definitely not a priority for the opposition parties, analyst Stepan Safaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Commenting on three parties' position, he said, unfortunately, the issue is not a priority for the non-ruling parties – Heritage, ARF and ANC.

“I do regret, but the three parties are not opposing, moreover almost supporting Eurasian Union,” Safaryan emphasized.

This means another collapse in the state, because even the opposition in Armenia appears to be in the sphere of Russian influence, he added.

Earlier head of ANC parliamentary faction Levon Zurabyan, commenting on Armenia's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union, said “it is generally not the most important issue”.
