YEREVAN. – Liberty Square, which is located at the heart of Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, will be “busy” between October 15 and 23.

Opposition Heritage Party Vice-Chairman Armen Martirosyan has submitted a letter of notification for holding assemblies at Liberty Square on those days, and from 11am to 11pm.

The Yerevan mayor’s authorized representative has taken note of this notification.

To add, the three non-government National Assembly factions (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia, and Heritage) will hold a joint rally at Liberty Square on October 10. The opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party, however, will not participate in this public meeting because disagreements had risen with the aforesaid “parliamentary trio,” and regarding their positions on constitutional reforms.
