STEPANAKERT. – In accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring on the Line of Contact between the NKR and the Azerbaijan armed forces.

The monitoring will be held on Tuesday, and in the Askeran direction

From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria), the Field Assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, and Peter Svedberg, the Office staff member.

From the opposite side of the Line of Contact, the monitoring will be held by Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, and his Field Assistant Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine).

The NKR authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and to ensure the security of the OSCE Mission members.
