YEREVAN. – Information was received, on Friday at 2:11pm, from the Armenia Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) National Seismic Protection Service.

Accordingly, a 3.9-magnitude earthquake had occurred in Azerbaijan, at 1:45pm local time, 24 km northeast of Qazax city, and it measured magnitude 5 at the epicenter, the Armenian News-NEWS.am ascertained from the MES.

The hypocenter of the tremor was 10 km beneath the surface.
