Catholicos Aram I of the Holy See of Cilicia left for Iran on Wednesday morning.

His Holiness Aram I will travel to Tehran and New Julfa, where he will visit Armenian churches and schools and will hold meetings with the spiritual leaders and officials.

The visit will last two weeks, Aztag daily reported.
