YEREVAN. – Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has  made no demands to Armenia, National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan told reporters on Monday.

He stated the aforesaid in response to a query as to what it was about when Nazarbayev had stated, after Armenia’s signing the Eurasian Economic Union accession treaty, that a compromise option was selected with respect to the border issue.

“At the moment, Nazarbayev has not made and cannot make any demands to us [, Armenia]. We are going along our chosen path, and we accept no demand,” Sahakyan noted, in particular.

Armenia signed, on October 10 in the Belarusian capital city of Minsk, the treaty on accession to the Eurasian Economic Union.
