YEREVAN. - The Agreement on Accession of Armenia to the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union will not be voted during the current four-day session of the National Assembly (Parliament) of Armenia, Armenian News - NEWS.am reports.

According to the NEWS.am sources in the parliament, the Agreement was supposed to be submitted to the National Assembly by the Administration of the Armenia’s President, however, as it was not submitted prior to the current session, it will not be discussed and voted in the parliament during the next four days of current session.

It is possible though that the National Assembly convenes an extraordinary session solely for the ratification of the Agreement on Accession of Armenia to the Eurasian Economic Union.

The Agreement was signed at a Eurasian Economic Council summit on October 10 in Minsk.
