YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 409.29/$1 in Armenia on Monday, and this makes for an AMD 0.91 rise from the previous day.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 519.14 (up by AMD 2.83), that of one British pound was AMD 658.88 (up by AMD 4.04), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 9.73 (unchanged), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.
One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 226.2, AMD 16,221.73, and AMD 16,501.36, respectively.
Monday’s trading totaled USD 1,300,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 410.42/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 410.5/$1.
