YEREVAN. - In the Malatia-Sebastia district of Armenian capital a jealous husband had slaughtered his wife, Armenian News - NEWS.am reports.
According to information from our source, initially law enforcement agents found the body of M. Poghosyan born in 1952. The husband of the victim, A. Mnatsakanyan born in 1945, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Later police revealed that there were constant fights in the family as the couple argued very often. The last argument, which ended with the murder, started as the husband was jealous of his wife. After stubbing his wife with a knife, the man made a phone call to their son and told him that he “slaughtered the mother”. After that the man left but law enforcement agents arrested him in less than one hour.
