YEREVAN. – The European Union (EU) has solely discussed the EU Association Agreement with Armenia; the EU does not have a “Plan B.”

Ambassador Traian Hristea, who is Head of the Delegation of the EU to Armenia, stated the aforementioned on Tuesday, at the presentation of the results of the monitoring of the “Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Armenia on the facilitation of the issuance of visas.”

In his words, although the formation of a new team in the European Commission and the Council of the European Union will lead to some changes, the level of the Armenia-EU discourse remains unchanged.

“[But] you should also understand that time is needed to carry out the tasks that are set before us,” Hristea stressed.
